Map Tools allow you to interact with and change information on the map such as current location, zoom, pan, select by extent, select by polygon, and measure distances on the map.

Pan

Use Pan to select and edit a point feature by dragging it to a new location on the map, or to edit a linear or polyline feature by dragging on the vertex to be edited.

Select by Extent

Draw a square, point, or line to select all map items within the area drawn.

Select by Polygon

Click and draw a multi-point polygon to select all items within the polygon.

Measure

You can click and draw a multi-point line to determine the distance covered by the line. Distance can be shown in Miles, Kilometers, Feet, Meters, Yards, and Nautical Miles. Longitude and Latitude can also be found by using the Measure Tool to identify the point of the cursor.
