One or more security roles may be assigned to a dashboard. Once assigned, when a user selects one of the security roles, the dashboard assigned to that security role will be displayed if no other dashboard is displayed. To set the default dashboard for a security role, perform the following steps:
- Select the appropriate module by clicking the tab for the module.
- Display the Dashboards window, which is typically launched from the module's Reports menu.
- In the left pane of the Dashboards window, locate the dashboard to which you wish to assign security roles.
- Right-click the desired dashboard to display the shortcut menu and then click Assign Dashboard to Security Profiles. The system displays a dialog box with all configured security roles.
- In the Select column of the dialog box, click the square beside the name of each security profile that you wish to assign to the dashboard.
- Once you have selected all security roles, click the OK button to close the dialog box.
