Use the Material Codes ID window to define and maintain the list of materials used by your agency in road construction. The columns in this window provide the following information:
- Material Code: This column shows Shows the user-defined identification code for each material used in the construction and maintenance of roads in your network.
- Layer Category: This column indicates Indicates the typical layer position of the material when used with other materials.
- Color: This column shows Shows the color assigned to the material. The assigned color can be changed by double-clicking the displayed color. This causes a new window to open with a color palette. Click the desired color and select OK to assign the color to the material.
- Comments: This column allows Allows you to enter additional information. Typically, this is a description of the material or what the ID code means.
