New Features and Enhancements
Pavement Express
- Improvements have been made to the data import functionality:
- The Refresh Source Columns button now refreshes the source column list in the Import Config window.
When mapping columns in the data import process, drag-and-drop source columns now make it easier to map to target columns. Mapping drop-downs have tool tips with descriptions - including argument descriptions.
- The bound map in the Work Plan window now shows segments color-coded by budget category.
- The Export Scenario Details feature has been increased from 10,000 rows to 50,000 rows to accommodate larger data sets without significantly impacting performance.
Structure Inspector App
- Bridge Works columns and fields have been added to reflect Structures Inspector web application functionality. They are also populated and consistent with the web experience.
- Component Condition Ratings values and the Photos/Attachments tab are now synced between mobile and web.
- When a user adds a new element to a structure and doesn't set Total Quantity to a Condition State when downloading the inspection in the mobile app, it now automatically assigns said unassigned quantity to CS4.
- The Attachment Description field and the Comment field in the Photos/Attachments tab have been consolidated into one field, Attachment Description to resolve potential confusion.
- All fields are now consistent with the web application, properly populated, and sorted for the following screens:
- Identification tab
- Structure Details tab
- Features Carried tab
- Feature Crossed tab
- Span Inventory tab
- Span Elements tab
- Posting tab
- Work History tab
- Contract Work History sub-tab
- General tab
Structure Inspector Web Application
- Structures Inspector (SI) SNBI changes for Agile Standard:
- SNBI fields in Inventory have their drop-down list values updated.
- SNBI drop-down columns have been relabeled to match list values defined for SNBI.
Work Manager
Work Orders and Day Cards are now configurable through Metadata.
iOS version 15 and older are no longer supported.
App may not function properly on older Microsoft Surface Tablets.
Summit
- AgileAssets Summit is retired. If Summit Data Upload job is executed, an error message explaining that "AgileAssets Summit product has been retired." will appear and exit the system job.
Platform
- Supported Tomcat and JVM patch version update.
- On the new v2 workOrder daycard API endpoints, where the dateWork field is not populated, the API now provides a detailed error message that "Date Work value is required on day card" including the Work Order ID, Resource ID, and other fields needed to identify the record with the issue.
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Fixed: Issue in Structures Manager has been resolved and quantity levels for Elements now update as expected after QA approval of inventory edits. (NYSDOT)
- Fixed: Issue in Structures Manager has been resolved and long menu names are no longer truncated in the new UI.
- Fixed: Issue in Fleet & Equipment Manager has been resolved and labor hours check are now applied correctly the Repair Orders - Progress window.
- Fixed: Issue in Structures Inspector Web Application has been resolved and the drop-down fields' values now display correctly in Component Condition Rating tab of SI web. (NYSDOT)
- Fixed: Issue in Maintenance Manager has been resolved and The Work Order Accomplishment by Location feature has been updated to reflect the total work location quantities for a work date on the accomplishment day cards regardless of their approval state. The accomplishment is also now noted as approved only when all work locations recorded for the work date are also in an approved status.
- Fixed: Issue in Structures Inspector mobile app has been resolved and Inspection and Inventory tabs now appear as expected.
- Fixed: Issue in Work Manager mobile app has been resolved and the Admin Unit name is fully visible no matter the length.
- Fixed: Issue in Work Manager mobile app has been resolved and now when selecting multiple assets from the Reporting form screen while creating an Inspection, and when selecting a group of assets from Work Order or the Asset screen, the From and To are shown in the list.
- Fixed: Issue in Structures Inspector mobile app has been resolved and the Deck Reinforcement Type drop-down field in the Span Inventory tab no longer show duplicates. (NYSDOT)
- Fixed: Issue in Roads and Highways Interface (when working with ArcGIS Pro) has been resolved and NaN in the route geometry no longer causes the interface to fail.
- Fixed: Issue in Platform has been resolved and Column Audit no longer triggers a database lock on postgres platform.
Known Issues, Limitations, and Restrictions
New Known Issues
- In Roads and Highways interface, when working with ArcGIS Pro, the interface currently does not support updating Alt. LRMs that are maintained as an LRS network in Roads and Highways.
- In Facilities Maintenance, the Assign Crew Members button is currently displayed outside of the screen margins. (OHDOT)
- In Facilities Manager, in the Building Inventory window it is currently possible to delete a record with dependent data. A warning is displayed but the record can still be deleted. (NYSDOT)
- In Fleet & Equipment Manager, the prompt notifying users that 'PM is due for this vehicle. Do you want to add PM services to this RO?' is not appearing when expected. (MnDOT)
- In Fleet & Equipment Manager, the left pane in the Preventive Maintenance by Class Code window is not showing the full field list. (MnDOT)
- In System module, running the Run Equipment Odometer Update Job - Fleet system job currently generates an error. (OHDOT)
- In Work Manager mobile app, when editing an open text field with text already present, the cursor automatically appears at the beginning of the text instead of at the end. If the user taps in the field a second time, the cursor will appear where they tap.
- In Maintenance Manager, when a user attempts to delete a quick filter they have created it generates an error.
- In Work Manager mobile app on Android devices, on initial log in the app shows the wrong page and freezes. Subsequent logins work correctly.
- In Work Manager mobile app on iPhone, when selecting an asset with a long name, the line item expands and partially hides the asset below it.
- In Work Manager mobile app on Google Pixel 6 Pro (Android 14), the map currently cannot be zoomed in or out on. Users can still search for a location and the map will automatically move to it. (AKDOT)
- In Reports, when migrating iReport to Jasper Server, the migration process creates a datasource called "For migrated iReports". However, this generated datasource always uses the PostgreSQL ODBC driver, even if the ams-web uses Oracle database.
- In Work Manager mobile app, when entering numbers into the Patch Length field, the highlight and cursor default to the wrong field. User must tap Patch Length in the panel to the right to enter numbers correctly. (AKDOT)
- In Roads and Highways, currently On ArcGIS Pro, all the arguments must be submitted with the web service call - there is currently no default argument.
Resolved Known Issues
- In Work Manager mobile app, the ESTIP field is no longer visible on the Summary page because it is not included in the metadata.
- In Stormwater Manager, when saving a change to the Inspection Type column in the Stormwater Inspection Questions window, the system no longer generates an error.
- In Work Manager app, when a user attempts to open the Signal detail screen on the Location tab of a newly duplicated work order, the app no longer crashes.
- In Structures Inspector app, when a user attempts to inspect a newly downloaded Inspection, the tabs now load correctly.
- In Structures Inspector, new records created using the Add new Non-Structural Condition Observation button are now correctly auto populated until after they are saved. (NYCDOT)
- In the Work Manager and Structure Inspector mobile app on Windows, users accessing the app with a native TID user ID will now display the login page properly.
- In platform, when user clicks X in the Creating Quick Filter pop-up window, the Quick Filter will not be saved (same as clicking Cancel).
- In Maintenance Manager, changing values in the Asset Inspection window no longer generates several errors.
- In Maintenance Manager, selecting a Sidewalk Inventory tab in the Sidewalk Inspections window no longer generates an error about the Asset Sub-Category ID. (MnDOT)
