Use the Motorpool User Reservation window to initiate a request to rent a vehicle. This window provides fields to record information about the type of vehicle to be rented and who will be renting the vehicle. Only pending reservations (that is, reservations to which a vehicle has not yet been assigned) are shown in this window.

When you right-click the window, the system displays a shortcut menu. This menu provides the common commands along with the following special commands:

• Make New Reservation: This command inserts a new record in the window. The New Reservation command button duplicates the function of this command.
• Assign Vehicle: This command uses the entered equipment class code to locate an available vehicle of the requested type and then assign this vehicle to the reservation. Once assigned, the ID number of the vehicle is shown in the Equipment field. The Auto Assign Vehicle command button duplicates the function of this command.
• Submit Reservation: This command causes your request (or modified request) to be sent to the motor pool group. The Submit Reservation command button duplicates the function of this command.
• Update User Info: This command allows you to modify your user information, including to what agency (lease owner) you belong and your e-mail address. When this command is selected, the system displays a dialog box that shows your user-related information. Modify the displayed information as needed and select OK to save the new information. The Update User Info command button duplicates the function of this command.
