The left pane, Class Codes, shows a tree view of the equipment classification codes, which are the different types of equipment. The pane shows two squares beside the name of each type of equipment which indicate the following:

When you point to a type of equipment in the hierarchy and right-click, a shortcut menu is displayed. This shortcut menu contains the common commands along with the following special commands:

PM Checklist by Class Code

The PM Checklist by Class Code window configures the checklist items that need to be accomplished when performing a repair activity for a particular type of equipment. The items on the checklist are included in the Repair Order Report that is printed from the Repair Orders pane in the In Progress Window.

Insert Checklist Items

After the desired checklist items are inserted in the PM Checklist Item configuration table, follow these steps to associate checklist items with a repair activity for a particular type of equipment:

  1. Navigate to the PM Checklist by Class Code window (Fleet > Setup/Inventory > PM Checklist by Class Code).
  2. In the Class Codes pane, expand the hierarchy to locate the desired class code and select the class code to select it. Note: The selected class code must be at the lowest node level in the hierarchy (in other words, no branches can extend from the selected class code node).
  3. In the Activities pane, locate and click the desired repair activity.
  4. In the Checklist pane, point to the pane, right-click, and select Insert. The system adds a row to the pane.
  5. Click the down arrow in the new row to display the list of checklist items and select the desired item.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any additional checklist items to be associated with the selected activity.
  7. Once all checklist items are entered in the Checklist pane, click .
