The Equipment tab shows the equipment assigned to the work order selected in the Work Orders pane. This tab contains three panes: Equipment Shortlist, Assigned Equipment, and Equipment Day Cards. These panes are described below:

Equipment Shortlist Pane

This pane shows all equipment on your shortlist, which is configured in the Equipment Shortlist window. Equipment is chosen for the selected work order by selecting the check box in the Select column next to the name of the equipment. The equipment will then appear in the Assigned Equipment pane. (You can remove equipment from a work order by clearing the check box.)

Note: To assign a crew to the work order, you do not need to select the equipment used by the crew in this pane. Instead, in the Responsible Crew column of the Work Orders pane, select the crew. Then right-click or select Actions and select Assign Crew Members. The system will then automatically show all equipment that is used by the crew in the Assigned Equipment pane and will show the names of the crew members in the Assigned Employees pane.

When you right-click this pane, a shortcut menu is displayed. This menu contains the common commands along with the following special commands:

Assigned Equipment Pane

This pane shows all equipment assigned to the work order selected in the Work Orders pane. When you right-click the record for a piece of equipment, a shortcut menu is displayed. This menu contains the common commands along with the following special commands:

Equipment Day Cards Pane

Note: Day Cards cannot be approved unless the work order's account codes are valid.

This pane shows the equipment Day Cards created for the work order selected in the Work Orders pane. If you have sufficient authority, you can approve an individual Day Card by selecting the check box in the Approved column. (You can also disapprove a Day Card by clearing the check box.) Alternately, you can select a group of Day Cards (by using SHIFT+click for rows that are together or CTRL+click for non-adjacent rows) and then right-click or select Actions.
