The Activity License window associates a license or certification with an activity. Once a license is associated with an activity, only employees with the specified license may be assigned to perform the activity. An employee can be assigned a license or certification in the Employees window in the Resources module.

The Activity License window contains the following panes:

• Module: This pane lists the modules that are available in the system. A module is selected by clicking the record showing the module. After selecting a module in this pane, the asset types shown in the Asset Types pane will change to those for the selected module.
• Asset Types: This pane lists all asset types configured for the selected module. An asset type is selected by clicking the record showing the asset type. After selecting an asset type in this pane, the activities in the Selected Activities pane will change to those that are allowed for the selected asset type.
• Selected Activities: This pane shows the activities that are permitted for the asset type selected in the Asset Types pane. An activity is selected by clicking the record showing the activity.
• Licenses Needed: This pane shows the license or certification that is required to perform the activity selected in the Selected Activities pane. Multiple licenses or certifications may be required for an activity. The license or certification is selected from a drop-down list, which is configured in the Setup License window in the Resources module.
