You can use this window to create an Expenditure Category Identifier record using the Insert command. This window lists the Appropriate Object, Expenditure Category Name, District, the Effective Date Start, the Effective Date End, Administrative Unit, Is Active, and a Comments field (optional) that can be used to provide additional information. You can also use the right-click Delete menu option to remove an Expenditure Category Identifier record.
Note: An Appropriation Object Code record must exist to create an Expenditure Category Identifier record. When creating a new record, you must first select an Appropriation Object record (from the pre-populated drop-down list) and then populate all other fields. |
Note: If the “Is Active” check-box is checked against any record in the Expenditure Category Identifier window, that (Expenditure Category ID) record will no longer be available to select in the Expenditure Category ID dropdown of the BOAB window when creating a new record. |
