There are several ways to import data to Summit.
- Local File: Local files have several advantages over connectors. Anyone can upload a CSV file using Summit's user interface and replace it when needed. These files can be in Dropbox©, Google© Drive, or on your local computer. The drawback to local files is that they cannot be scheduled to update, and there is a file size limit for uploads. If your dataset needs to be automatically updated, a Connector must be used.
- Connector: A connector is a tool built to automatically pull data from Dropbox, Google Drive, or a database. Summit has several built in connectors. When possible, this is the best way to get data from a remote data source or a database.
