Use the Setup Indices window to configure the defect priority indices that will be used in maintenance analysis. This window has two panes:
- Indices: The upper pane shows all currently defined defect priority indices.
- Defect Coefficients: For the index selected in the upper pane, this pane lists the relative coefficients or priorities for all defects associated with the index. The value of the coefficient ranges from 0 ("ignore") to a high value that is defined at the time of implementation. (The high value is configured in this way because coefficients are applied normalized.) The system uses the coefficients to generate relative priorities during maintenance analysis.
