AgileAssets Pavement Express is a Pavement Management System (PMS) designed to help users in local governments manage pavement assets in a modern, data-driven way. It stores, retrieves, and processes pavement-related condition and inventory data, allowing users to analyze the current condition, future performance, and expected financial needs of the network. Unlike Pavement Analyst, which primarily depends on a Linear Referencing System (LRS) utilized for large highway networks, Pavement Express uses a segment-based network model. This streamlined configuration enables a rapid deployment and ease of use, ensuring quick and efficient results for cities and counties.

The system allows the user to set up and use multiple analysis scenarios. Each scenario is a “what-if“ question that can find the optimal solution (work plan) for various funding and performance targets.

The system allows users to easily view their inventory, its attributes, and its history. It also enables users to perform analysis on that inventory such as:

  • What pavement sections do I have?
  • What attributes do my pavement sections have?
  • What is the construction history?
  • What is the condition and trend of the network?
  • How much will it cost to maintain or improve the network conditions?
  • What is the best set of treatments?
  • How do the various strategies compare to one another?
