The BOA Allotments (BOAB) window allows you to setup allotments for a Team Section along with the Expenditure Categories for a fiscal year.         

This window contains two panes: Team Sections and Expenditure Categories.

  • The Team Sections pane list the Fiscal Year, Administrative units, Appropriation Objects, Begin Appr Allotment, YTD Obligated Amount, YTD Extended Amount, and Unobligated Amount.
  • The Expenditure Categories pane list the Expenditure Category ID, Beginning Budget, and YTD Expanded Amount for the selected record in the Team Sections (upper) pane.

Create a BOAB Record

  1. Open the BOA Allotments (BOAB) window.
  2. Above the top pane in the window, select the year of interest in the Selected Year drop-down.
  3. Select the Select AObj drop-down and choose the appropriation object.
  4. Select the Admin Unit drop-down and choose the Admin unit.
  5. Right-click in the Team Sections (upper) pane, and select Insert. A new row is inserted into the pane.
  6. Select the Fiscal Year drop-down, and select the year of interest.
  7. Select the Administrative Unit drop-down and select the Admin unit.
  8. Select the Appr Object drop-down, and choose an object.
  9. Enter the dollar amount into the Begin Appr Allotment field.
  10. Next, navigate to the Expend. Categories (bottom) pane, right-click, and select Insert.
  11. On the new row that is inserted, select the Expenditure Category ID drop-down and select the category ID.
  12. Enter the dollar amount into the Begin Budget field.

    Note: To create multiple Expenditure Category IDs, repeat steps 10 thru 12.
  13. When all records are entered, select Save Date to save the record.
