What's New
New Features and Enhancements
Platform
- The Temporal View feature now supports viewing all historical data.
- This feature is now available for any table-based dataset with Temporality enabled. For any table-based dataset that enables Temporality, a right-click action menu item, Set Date Filter is now available.
- This allows users to view the data from any historical point in time, when the underlying dataset has enabled Temporality. Standard right-click feature such as Export Data, Find, Filter, and Show on Map continue to work accordingly.
- This feature will bring up a window with these options:
- Use current system date and time: normal viewing and editing mode
- Use a specific time: allows users to review historical data from a specific time point
- Clear datetime filter and see data from all dates and time: allows user to review all historical data
- When reviewing any historical data, the data is not editable. Data can be edited as usual when using the "current system date and time" option (this is the default mode).
- To enable Temporality feature on a dataset:
- Go to Tables window in System module, locate the dataset (Table) on which you want to enable Temporality.
- Right-click on the table and select Refresh from Database
- Click OK to confirm
- Select Keep change history checkbox for the table
- Click Save
- Right-click the table and select Apply Changes
- Click OK to confirm
- The table is now enables Temporality.
- Limitations of the feature:
- The temporal view only applies to the grid or form data. If the screen is also configured with a bound map, the map does not show the historical data.
- The temporal view only applies to standard, simple data windows with tables as the data source. If a window is configured with complex queries, database views, or Staged Editing (typically implemented in complex structure inventory editing and review workflow), the temporal view feature will not be available or may cause problems when it's used.
- Roads and Highways Interface on ArcGIS Pro supports Alt LRM networks. See latest version of Roads and Highways Interface user guide for details.
- A new system job and executable, "Fix partially subordinate location segments", is available to fix partially subordinate segment in LRS in any dataset. Partially subordinate segments will be split accordingly, and the subordinate segment will be converted to its dominant route accordingly.
- Tomcat 9, JVM 11, and JasperReport Server 9 patch version update.
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Fixed: Issue in platform has been resolved and when a user is set to Inactive or not allowed to login in AgileAssets and then tries to login using Single Sign-On (SSO), they were redirected to the Identity Provider with an incorrect error message, such as "Logout redirect is not registered" or "Logout redirect does not match token". Redirect and error messages are now correct.
- Fixed: Issue in LRS Gateway has been resolved and External Event Registration with Roads & Highways on ArcGIS Pro (v3.3 and above), and From_Date and To_Date can now be mapped on Postgres platform.
- Fixed: Issue in Reports module has been resolved and the FHWA Submittal Reports > SNBI Preparation and Submission window, the Compiled Data > 3 - Span Sets sub-tab has been updated to correctly display the data from each mapped field which will be used for the SNBI report.
Known Issues, Limitations, and Restrictions
New Known Issues
- Tomcat 9.0.96 will cause the standard report to not show up when it uses Aggregation function. Do not install Tomcat v9.0.96. Install Tomcat v9.0.95 or v9.0.97 instead.
- In System module, pages under the Save (not used) file path fail to open and generate an error message. (ITD)
- In Roads and Highways module, Utilities page fails to open when clicked in the menu. Page still accessible through direct URL. (ITD)
- When two users are logged in using the same device and same browser in a non-SSO setting, the first user is logged out.
- In Pavement Management module, when adding the Functional Class ID column to the Target Table, the column is not added. (ITD)
- In Fleet Management module, when opening the Fleet Management Standard Dashboard in either Jasper Server or ams-web and choosing one or more parameters in Equipment class an error message is being generated. The error disappears when the Equipment distribution tab is deleted.
- In Pavement Management module, clients should set the toggle for Show Title to off for dashlets that do not display fully and are cut off at the bottom. (TXDOT)
- When using OpenID-based SSO, a GIS Explorer map window or widget, such as bound map, will time out and present a 401 error one hour after logging in. Logging back in will work around this issue.
- Temporal view feature does not support historical attachments when the attachments are saved using folder in a local or network drive, or a 3rd-party file storage service. The feature works when the attachments are saved in the database.
Resolved Known Issues
- In Structures Manager, saving changes to new inventory records no longer generates an error. (NYCDOT)
