What's New

New Features and Enhancements

Structures Inspector

SNBI

  • In Bridge Inventory, 'Routes' can be added to features (Carried and Crossed) of the 'Highway' type. One feature supports multiple 'Routes' children.
  • The mobile application for Structures Inspector also supports features of the 'Highway' type having multiple Routes as children. This can be seen in the Feature Carried and Feature Crossed tabs of the app.
  • For Highway Feature Types, route records will follow SNBI documentation logic: unnumbered routes (or with a route number of 0) will not appear in the Routes tab and be reported. If the highway feature has at least one numbered route, then only named routes are reported.
  • SNBI related fields are now updated to be compliant in both their labels and their value format.
  • Fields of the B.IE category for SNBI are up-to-date and compliant in the Past Inspections tab.
  • The following features have been updated to be SNBI compliant:
    • Fields/Columns from the 1 - Primary, 7 - Inspections, and B.IE categories of SNBI
    • Columns for span Elements and their Conditions

Flags

  • When issuing a new independent flag, a pop-up now opens which allows users to select which bridge with which to associate that flag.
  • When an independent flag is rejected, relevant users receive an e-mail detailing which flag was rejected and by whom.
  • Users can now monitor all the flags available through the All Flags screen.
  • Users can now access the Issue Independent Flag screen to create flags not tied to an inspection. The flag will be associated to a bridge.
  •  Independent flags can now be associated to an inspection and become tied to them through the "Associate Flag to an Inspection" action button.
  • Users can go through the review process for flags in the Flag Review window. Both independent and inspection-tied flags are displayed in the window list. Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) steps are supported.
  • The Flag Type drop-down options have been updated to include only Red Flag, Yellow Flag, and Safety Flag PIA for both the web and mobile applications.

Known Issues, Limitations, and Restrictions

New Known Issues

  • In Pavement Express, when a scenario with the Postpone Deterioration checkbox is checked and then scrolled away from, the checkbox and drop-downs become greyed out. Users can still click the row to update the checkbox and click on a different row and back to reactivate the drop-downs.
  • In Work Manager mobile app, when syncing a newly created panel the changes will not be synced and an error message will appear. (MnDOT)
  • In Roadway Maintenance, when inserting a new record into the Sign Condition Survey window the record is not saved and an error message will appear. (WYDOT)
  • In Work Manager mobile app, when the device is in landscape mode the End Date field of the Work Request screen is no displaying correctly.
  • In Work Manager mobile app, when an admin unit with a large number of open Work Requests downloaded tries to sync, the sync is extremely slow and sometimes crashes. (Vinci Autoroutes)

Resolved Known Issues

  • In Roadway, elements now appear as expected when inserting new inventorу elements through the Work Order window. (KYTC)
  • Using OpenID-based SSO, a GIS Explorer map window or widget, such as bound map, no longer times out or presents a 401 error one hour after logging in.
  • In Resources, "Enter Time Simple" no longer allows Overlapping Day Cards on the Timesheet window. (AKDOT)
  • In Structure Manager, newly submitted Repair Requests no longer skip the QC workflow to appear directly in the QA window. (NYCDOT)

Existing Known Issues

Note: Issues will be removed from the list after one full major release.

  • In Work Manager, if the internet connection is interrupted during a sync, the sync will fail.
  • In Pavement Analyst, when creating a scenario with a Constraint Limit Value that is blank or 0, an error message appears even though the scenario runs successfully. (AKDOT)
  • In Maintenance Manager, when making changes to an inspection and then removing attachment, all changes made prior to save are cleared.
  • In System module, when a Migrate selected report or Revert iReport migration is selected for a report, the report is not highlighted afterwards and a different report is highlighted instead.
  • JasperReports Server 9.0.0 Upgrade

    • When there is a filter configured on the dashboard, if there are no values selected by the filter, the dashboard will not return any results. (on v7.8.0, when there is no value selected in the dashboard's filter, all values will be returned). This is the JasperServer Report behavior in v9.0.0 and cannot be reverted by AgileAssets.
    • When a dashlet used in the dashboard is set to show title, the dashlet will appear to be cropped at the bottom. The fix is to set the dashlet object to not show title (this setting can be found by opening the specific dashlet for editing, such as the Ad Hoc View, and turn off "Show Title"), and then display the desired dashlet title in the "Dashlet name" setting (this setting can be found by opening the dashboard for editing, select the dashlet, and then set the "Dashlet name" property under the "Dashlet Settings"). This is the JasperServer Report behavior in v9.0.0 and cannot be reverted by AgileAssets.
    • If there are multiple very large reports (report's XML >30Mb), it is recommended to export these reports, remove them from the server, run the upgrade, and then import these reports back. This is to avoid significantly long upgrade time.
  • In System module, pages under the Save (not used) file path fail to open and generate an error message. (ITD)
  • In Roads and Highways module, Utilities page fails to open when clicked in the menu. Page still accessible through direct URL. (ITD)
  • When two users are logged in using the same device and same browser in a non-SSO setting, the first user is logged out.
  • In Pavement Management module, when adding the Functional Class ID column to the Target Table, the column is not added. (ITD)
  • In Fleet Management module, when opening the Fleet Management Standard Dashboard in either Jasper Server or ams-web and choosing one or more parameters in Equipment class an error message is being generated. The error disappears when the Equipment distribution tab is deleted.
  • In Pavement Management module, clients should set the toggle for Show Title to off for dashlets that do not display fully and are cut off at the bottom. (TXDOT)
  • In Facilities Maintenance, the Assign Crew Members button is currently displayed outside of the screen margins. (OHDOT)
  • In Facilities Manager, in the Building Inventory window it is currently possible to delete a record with dependent data. A warning is displayed but the record can still be deleted. (NYSDOT)
  • In System module, running the Run Equipment Odometer Update Job - Fleet system job currently generates an error. (OHDOT)
  • In Work Manager mobile app, when editing an open text field with text already present, the cursor automatically appears at the beginning of the text instead of at the end. If the user taps in the field a second time, the cursor will appear where they tap.
  • In Maintenance Manager, when a user attempts to delete a quick filter they have created it generates an error.
  • In Work Manager mobile app on Android devices, on initial log in the app shows the wrong page and freezes. Subsequent logins work correctly.
  • In Work Manager mobile app on iPhone, when selecting an asset with a long name, the line item expands and partially hides the asset below it.
  • In Work Manager mobile app on Google Pixel 6 Pro (Android 14), the map currently cannot be zoomed in or out on. Users can still search for a location and the map will automatically move to it. (AKDOT)
  • In Work Manager mobile app, when entering numbers into the Patch Length field, the highlight and cursor default to the wrong field. User must tap Patch Length in the panel to the right to enter numbers correctly. (AKDOT)
  • In Fleet Maintenance Manager mobile app, decimal numbers are not currently allowed in the Mileage field.
  • In all applications, the Copy Rows to Clipboard CSV and Copy All to Clipboard CSV functions currently copy the IDs as opposed to the lookups.
  • In Structures Inspector web application, using the Apply Changes function in the BRIDGE_INVENTORY row of the Tables pane currently generates an error.
  • In Work Manager mobile app, when creating a new Accomplishment Day Card on an activity that does not have a Unit assigned the sync fails.
  • In Fleet & Equipment Manager, user cannot currently uncomplete and then complete a Repair Order created using the Issue Material to Vehicle function. (OKDOT)
  • In Maintenance Manager, in the Location/Asset tab of the Create New/In Progress window when adding an asset to a work order, after saving the asset is still highlighted on the map and its data is still showing in the left pane.
  • In Maintenance Manager, when creating a new inspection from an existing item in the Maintenance Assets window, the Inspector column is not populating correctly.
