Once the appropriate license is configured in the Setup License window in the Resources module, perform these steps to associate an activity with the license:

  1. Open the Activity License window.
  2. In the Module pane, select the module where the asset type for which the activity is performed is found. After selecting the module, the system displays the asset types for the module in the Asset Types pane.
  3. In the Asset Types pane, select the asset type for which the activity is performed. After selecting the asset type, the system displays the activities that may be performed for this asset type in the Selected Activities pane.
  4. In the Selected Activities pane, locate the desired activity and select the record showing the activity. After selecting the activity, the system will display the license(s) or certification(s) required for this activity, if any, in the License Needed pane.
  5. In the Licenses Needed pane, right-click the pane and then click Insert. The system adds a record to the pane.
  6. Select the down arrow shown in the new record to display the list of licenses and certifications.
  7. Select the desired license or certification.
  8. If an additional license is required for the activity, repeat steps 5 through 7. Otherwise, select  to complete the procedure.
