The base map provides the underlying reference for the type of geographic information over which you can place additional information or layers.

Changing the Base Map

At the bottom of the Layer Panel, you can see the current Base Map with an icon depicting its theme. Click the map icon to see the other available base maps and select a different base map. The base map is saved with the map.

System Default Base Map

Setting the System Default Base Map is an administrative feature and is set in the geo_default_map table in the application database.
