Budget Plan

Budget plans are a type of budgeting tool that roll-up Plan Matrix line items into budget line items or activity categories. Three components define a budget item: activity category, administrative unit, and fiscal year. The Budget Plan window shows the budget items for your administrative unit. The value in the Planned Budget Details column is a summary of the costs of the individual activities that comprise the activity category and is a hyperlink. When you click the hyperlink, the system displays a new window that shows the costs of the individual activities. This information is taken from the Plan Matrix window.
