To create a PM repair order, following the steps below:

  1. Click Operations in the top banner menu
  2. Click Internal Repair Order in the drop-down menu
  3. Click Create to open the Issue window
  4. In the PM Needs pane, right-click and select Refresh PM Queue
    The system updates the list of equipment and vehicles in need of PM
  5. Locate and right-click on the vehicle for which the PM repair order will be created and select Issue Work from the drop-down menu
    The system creates a new repair order in the Repair Order pane and also creates activity records for the PM work to be done in the bottom Repair Order Activities pane
  6. In the Repair Order pane, if known, click the down arrow in the Mechanic column and select the name of the person who will be performing the PM activities
  7. In the Repair Order Activities pane at the bottom of the window, check the activities listed
  8. Add additional activity records by right-clicking and selecting Insert as needed
    This adds a record to the pane, and you can then select the activity in the Activity column by clicking the down arrow to display the drop-down list of activities and selecting the desired activity
  9. You can also delete unnecessary activity records by right-clicking the record and selecting Delete
  10. When the displayed activities are correct, click Save
