Define a Work Code

To define a work code:

1. Open the Work Code window.
2. In the Work Code window, right-click and select Insert. A new record is added to the table.
3. In the Work Code Name column, highlight the default name and then type the name of the work code.
4. In the Pavement Type column, click the down arrow and select the surface type.
5. In the Work Type column, click the down arrow and select the work type.
6. In the RSC for Thin Pvmnt column, click the down arrow and select the appropriate RSC code.
7. If the RSC varies by pavement thickness for this work code, click the down arrow in the RSC for Thick Pvmnt column and select the appropriate RSC code for thick pavement. Also, in the Thickness column, enter the threshold value between thin and thick pavement.
8. Click the  icon to save the new work code.
