• Issue: When entering a URL for an ESRI REST service, the following error is displayed: Unable to draw graphic (geometry:null, symbol:null): Cannot read property ‘length” of undefined. As shown below:

  • Resolution: This is a Mapping – ESRI Rest Service Error often caused by missing parts of a URL. In this example, the link that the client was accessing was missing a /0 at the end of the URL. To troubleshoot a similar problem, try to open the URL in a browser and validate that the correct map is displayed. If you see an error or a directory instead of a map, verify the URL and try again.
