Selecting a layer opens the Edit Layer panel. You can also select the ellipsis and then select Edit Layer to open the editing view of the layer panel. To return to the Layer Panel, select the Layer name at the top of the Panel.

Map Styles

Layers support three different style approaches: Simple, Unique, and Range.

• Simple: Simple styles are allow you to apply the same styling such as shape, color, or size to all the features on the layer.
• Unique: Unique styles allow you to select a system attribute and have the styling to match each of the unique values. This is generally a good approach when there are 2-10 possible values.
• Range: Range styles allow you to select a system attribute, define a range for the values, and define styling for each range. This is generally a good approach when there are many values and grouping is important for the map to show something clearly.

Layer Filter

Allows you to define attributes and values to use in filtering the information displayed on the map. Multiple attributes can be combined using logical operands to apply a complex filter.

Map Layer Info

You can define and toggle visibility of the map legend and labels. You can also define the attributes to use for labels and define the font, size, and color of labels.

Offsets

When you have overlapping data on your map, you can offset that information from its actual location on the map to make it more visible at different zoom levels. Select the Attribute, Value, and Offset distance to update the location of the data on the map.
