The Search window allows you to locate and display information about any piece of equipment in inventory.
To locate a piece of equipment, follow the steps below:
- Select the search criteria by clicking the drop-down arrow on the Select Column to Retrieve by field and selecting the desired search variable
- Enter the identifying data in the open text field
- Click Show Inventory to display information for the desired piece of equipment
Note: You can find several pieces of equipment by placing a percent sign (%) at the end of the search string. For example, if you are searching on equipment name, then AC% will find all equipment beginning with 'AC'.
You can also show all Inventory with a certain criteria by just entering % in the Enter Value field.
