Insert a New Classification Code

To add a new, subordinate level to the material class hierarchy, follow these steps:

1. In the table view, right-click the material class code under which the new code will be added and select Add. The system expands the tree view and adds the new node as subordinate to the selected class code. A new record is also added to the table.
2. In the new record of the table, double-click New in the Mat. Class Code column. The word New is highlighted.
3. Type the name of the new material class code.
4. Click  to save the new code.
