There are multiple ways to install the Work Manager (WM) Mobile app.
The easiest way to install the latest publicly available version of the WM app is to download it directly from the official App Store for whichever operating system (OS) your device is running. The links for these are as noted below:

Note: You may also install the app from the Apple Appstore, Google Play or MicroSoft Windows Appstore by searching for key words “AgileAssets” or “Work Manager” to locate them in the store.
To install the WM app from the AgileAssets App Store, navigate to https://appstore.agileassets.com/ and identify the version that needs to be downloaded (for NYSDOT MMS/Signals & ITS Release use version 7.5.6).
For the mobile application, choose the appropriate operating system:
Note: When the app is being installed on your mobile device, you may need to update the settings of your mobile device to grant the app permission to be installed from outside the Apple Appstore (iOS), Google Play (Android) or MicroSoft Windows Appstore (Windows 10). If one of these environment specific Appstores is used to install, the app will kept updated to the latest released version by their normal update processes.
Installation on Windows 10:
- Download from the link for Windows 10.
- Unzip the folder contents
- Your computer needs to be set to Developer Mode. To put device in developer's mode:
- Open the Settings app
- Go to Update and Security
- Click the "For developers" tab
- Under the User developer features section, select ‘Developer mode’.
- There will be an alert that pops up, click ‘Yes’
- Installation:
- Follow the download instructions above, The file download will be a .zip file
- Unzip the file by right-clicking on it, and selecting “Extract All”.
- Find the “AppDevPackage.ps1” file, right-click, select "Run with Powershell"
- There may be warnings about an unverified app. You will need to accept the warnings by clicking 'Yes'
- The app should appear in the start menu once it's installed.
Note: In case during the WM installation, the error “please install the certificate first” is seen as below:
"Before installing this app, you need to do the following:
- Install the signing certificate
Administrator credentials are required to continue. Please accept the UAC prompt and provide your administrator password if asked.
Press Enter to continue...: "
- Open the zip folder noted in step 4 above.
- Locate the “MobileWorkManagerX.UWP_X.X.X.XXXX_x64” security certificate.
- Right-click on file and select Install Certificate.
- In the Certificate Import Wizard which opens, select “Local Machine” as the Store Location then click “Next”.
- Select Place all certificates in the following store option then click Browse.
- In the Select Certificate Store window which opens click the “Trusted Root Certificates Authorities” folder then click “OK”.
- Click Next then click Finish. You should get a response that “The import was successful”.
- Retry the installation as outlined in step 4.
Installation on Apple iOS:
- Download from the link for iOS (as described earlier).
- Tap the Install button to complete installation.
- Once installation is complete, find the 'Work Manager' app on your device then open the app.
- When launching the Mobile Work Manager app for the first time on an iOS device, you will receive an 'Untrusted Enterprise Developer' warning.
- Tap 'Cancel' on the 'Untrusted Enterprise Developer' error popup.
- Find the 'Settings' icon of your device. Tap the 'Settings' icon.
- Tap the 'General' row in the Settings screen.
- Tap the 'Device Management' row in the General Settings screen.
- You would see 'AgileAssets Inc' listed. Tap the row.
- Tap the 'Trust AgileAssets Inc' button.
- Tap the 'Trust' button on the popup.
- Exit Settings.
- Find the 'Work Manager' app on your device to reopen it.
Installation on Android:
Since the app is not downloaded through the official Google Play store, you will need to adjust some security settings before you can install it. The actual message may be slightly different depending on which Android device you are using.
- Download the app from the link for Android (as described earlier).
- A warning may pop up that states: “This type of file can harm your device. Do you want to keep com.agileassets.mobileworkmanagerx-QA.apk anyway?”.
- Tap ‘OK’ or ‘YES’ to this.
- Once the download is complete, tap ‘Open’.
- If you get a message similar to: “For security, your device is set to block installation of apps obtained from unknown sources. You need to tap ‘Settings’.“.
- Under device administration, find ‘Unknown sources’.
- Turn it on/check the box.
- You will get a message similar to: “Your device and personal data are more vulnerable to attack by apps from unknown sources. You agree that you are solely responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data that may result from using these apps.”
- Tap ‘OK’.
- Navigate back then tap ‘Install’.
- Once, installation is complete, you should be able to use the app.
