Each module within the AgileAssets Enterprise Asset Management Suite has a Messages window, and the contents of the window are the same for all modules.
To navigate to the Messages pop-up, follow the steps below:
- Click your Username in the top right corner
- Select Messages in the drop-down menu
When new messages are received, New Message is displayed at the top of the window. Select this alert to open the Messages window, and the most recent message will be shown first in the table. The lower portion of the window shows the text of the message selected in the upper pane.
The pop-up window that shows the message contains two command buttons: Read? and Close. After reading the message, select the Read? button to place a check mark in the Is Read? check box of the pop-up window. Then click Close to close the pop-up window. If you only click the Close button, the system will continue to re-display the alert pop-up window until you click the Read? button. By clicking the Read? button, you essentially delete the alert message because read messages are not shown in the Messages window.
