Use this window to setup hourly rates for a new hire. These rates are built using the combination of the following factors: Labor Contract, Labor Class Code, and New Hire Level.
Setup a New Hire Rate
- Open the New Hire Rate window.
- Right-click in the window, and select Insert. The system adds a new row.
- Select the Labor Contract drop-down, and choose a labor contract.
- Select the Class Code drop-down, and select the class code.
- Select the New Hire Level drop-down, and select the new hire level.
- Select the Effective Date Start calendar icon, and select the start date.
- In the Rate field, enter the numeric dollar amount.
- Select the Contract Start calendar icon, and select the date.
- Select Save Data to save the record when finished.
Note: You can use the right-click Delete menu option to remove a New Hire Record from this window.
