Use this window to setup hourly rates for a new hire. These rates are built using the combination of the following factors: Labor Contract, Labor Class Code, and New Hire Level.

Setup a New Hire Rate

  1. Open the New Hire Rate window.
  2. Right-click in the window, and select Insert. The system adds a new row.
  3. Select the Labor Contract drop-down, and choose a labor contract.
  4. Select the Class Code drop-down, and select the class code.
  5. Select the New Hire Level drop-down, and select the new hire level.
  6. Select the Effective Date Start calendar icon, and select the start date.
  7. In the Rate field, enter the numeric dollar amount.
  8. Select the Contract Start calendar icon, and select the date.
  9. Select Save Data to save the record when finished.
Note: You can use the right-click Delete menu option to remove a New Hire Record from this window.
