Use the Setup Resource Sharing window to allow an administrative unit to share the labor, equipment, or material resources from other administrative units for work orders.
The Setup Resource Sharing window provides four panes:
- The left pane shows a tree view of the administrative units in your agency. This information is read-only.
- The three panes on the right side show the labor, equipment, and material owners. Each pane lists the administrative units whose resources may be shared by the administrative unit selected in the left pane.
To share resources between administrative units, use the following steps:
- Right-click the pane and select Edit Selection. This opens the dialog box showing the tree view of administrative units in your agency.
- Select the administrative units whose resources will be shared.
- Click Save.
