The Treatments window in the Safety module shows those treatments that may be applied to remedy safety issues. The treatments listed here appear in treatment drop-down lists throughout the module.
This window contains the following two panes:
- Treatments Master List: This pane lists the available treatments that are defined by the Crash Modification Factor (CMF) Clearinghouse and their associated costs. The CMF clearinghouse is a web-based database of CMFs that identify the most appropriate countermeasures for the agency's safety needs, supported with documentation.
- Bid Items: This pane lists all items that may be used for treatments and their average unit bid prices. This data is taken from the Contract Administration public domain website. A bid item is placed in the Treatment Master List by selecting the check box in the Bid Item Related to Safety Treatments column.
