After selecting a trigger, the system displays a dialog box so you can enter the user-defined value or values. The values are displayed as numbers in the PM Parameters column in the format D;M (where D is the number of days and M is the meter reading). For example, performing an activity after 90 days or 3000 miles would display as 90;3000 and performing an activity after 1000 hours of use would display as 1000.

| Note: The meter reading can be in hours or miles. Meter readings are recorded in the End-of-Month Odometer window. When the System Administrator runs the system job to update the meter readings, the readings are moved from this window and stored in the individual inventory records for each vehicle and piece of equipment. These new readings are then compared to the previous readings at which a PM activity occurred when you select the Refresh PM Queue command in the PM Needs pane in the Issue window. If the comparison indicates that the PM activity is due, then the vehicle or piece of equipment is shown in the PM Needs pane in the Issue window. |
