The Daily Log window allows you to enter, edit, and approve or disapprove all types of Day Cards for all work orders performed by agency personnel for a single day. In other words, the Daily Log window is a way to record all activities that take place in your administrative unit for a single day.
Conversely, the Work Orders window lets you edit all the Day Cards for any single work order across multiple days. The end result is the same for any given work order regardless of the window you use to edit the Day Cards; the Daily Log window simply provides a different interface to the same information.
Note: Some implementations require the ability to enter, maintain, and track information for FEMA. In this topic the features that support this functionality are described. If such functionality is not within the scope of your system, it is turned off and you can ignore the sections in this topic that concern FEMA functionality.
