The Selection Priority parameter of a treatment determines which treatment from the decision trees should be used in optimization analysis, if a segment is recommended with multiple treatments during the decision-making process. For a given performance class and condition attribute, multiple decision trees may be defined.

During the decision-making process, the system calculates a recommended treatment from each of these decision trees. The treatment with the highest Selection Priority value becomes the selected strategy. The larger the Selection Priority value is, the higher the Selection Priority of the treatment.

Selection priority must be a unique number across all treatments. The user should assign selection priority based on local knowledge and your agency's policy. This number is not used for INCBEN analysis.
