The Objective of this lesson is for participants to understand how to select locations that need to be further analyzed in the Candidates for Project Location window.

At the end of this lesson, the user should know how to update a location with economic loss.

The Candidates for Project Location window lists the locations identified through Network Screening and selected in the Diagnosis window as potential locations for safety projects. These locations need to be further analyzed.

For this example, we identify an added location that need to be updated by performing the following steps:

1. Open the Candidates for Project Location window: Safety Analyst > Projects > Candidates for Project Location.

2. The Top pane contains selected potential hotspot locations, and the Bottom pane displays a map for the project location selected in the top pane.

3. In the Top pane, right-click on the (potential hotspot) record of interest and then select Update Economic Loss.

4. The window refreshes and for the selected location and the economic loss is computed.
