Tap INSPECT on an information card to initiate an inspection on an inspection candidate.
This brings you to the inspections forms selection screen, where you can either select the bridge forms or element condition ratings. The bridge forms are selected by default with the General inspection form displayed first. All information recorded in the app is saved as soon as you leave a field and start entering data in another field. Fields that cannot be edited by a user are grayed out as you can see on the Inspection Due Date, Inspection Type, etc. fields below. In data entry mode, you can collapse the side panel where the tabs are displayed by tapping 
. This allows you to have a bigger form view with wider fields for easier data entry. To re-expand the side panel, tap 
.
When you are done with the general form, you can tap NBI RATINGS to record those ratings or proceed to the element condition ratings by tapping ELEMENT.
