Use the Create window to create in-house repair orders either directly or based upon preventive maintenance (PM) needs.

  1. Click Operations in the top banner menu
  2. Click Internal Repair Order in the drop-down menu
  3. Click Create


Insert repair orders directly in this window by right-clicking and selecting Insert in the Repair Orders pane.

For repair orders based on PM needs, first define PM for a piece of equipment in the PM by Class Code or PM by Inventory window, then the Issue Internal Repair Order window will show equipment that is in need of PM. Select the right-click Refresh PM Queue command and it will also show the activities required to perform the maintenance. You can then select the record for a piece of equipment or vehicle, generate a repair order to perform the preventive maintenance, and record what activities were actually required to complete the repair order.
