Note: To save a record in this pane, the input table and output table must be named and must exist in the Oracle database.
The top pane contains a list of the saved rule sets giving the name of the rule set, and the source and target table names. A minimum length is defined if the user wishes to omit segment breaks that would create segments shorter than a specified length.
Important columns in this pane are:
- Input Table Name: This is a required column containing the name of an existing table in the Oracle database. This table is used as the input to the dynamic aggregation operation.
- Minimum Length/Maximum Length: These two columns determine the minimum and maximum lengths for the road segments that are output from the dynamic aggregation operation. The values entered in these columns are used in the aggregation rules. Adjacent input road segments will be merged so that each road segment is no shorter than the minimum length value and no longer than the maximum length value. If one or both columns are blank, then the road segments are not constrained by that variable.
- Output Table Name: This is a required column containing the name of an existing table in the Oracle database. This table is used as the output of the dynamic aggregation operation.
