To use an existing model to fit the data points, use on of the existing models shown in the left pane of the Models tab in Analyze Model.
To move a model from the left pane to the right pane so it can be used for analysis, follow the steps below:
- Open the Performance Models window.
- Right-click the node that represents the data set on which the linear regression will be performed and select Analyze Model. The system displays the Analyze Model window with a condition versus age plot of all data points in the data set.
- Select the Models tab.
- In the Type of Model field above the left pane, click the drop-down arrow and select the model type for the model you wish to move. The system displays all models of the selected type in the left pane.
- In the left pane, right-click the model you want to move and select Move Model. The system creates a record in the right pane and places the characteristics of the model in this record. It assigns a Model Run type of 3-Existing Model to this record.
